Back on August 4th, Bill Moyer interviewed a dozen of the world's most prominent authors - including Pema Chodron - for his series On Faith & Reason. Pema spoke on the nature of Buddhism and having a "calm mind and a warm heart." She talks joyfully about the benefits of a sitting practice and how it can help us become fully present. She addresses the definition of suffering and what it means to be a Buddhist nun.
You can still see and hear Pema's interview, as well as interviews with Maragret Atwood and Salmon Rushdie by clicking here and then clicking on the podcasts link.
